Intervention Services

Addiction to drugs and alcohol affects not only the addicted individual but the family, friends, workplace, and entire community as well. This is a fact that could have driven organizations to create intervention services to help addicted individuals to lead back a normal, healthy life away from drugs and alcohol.

Drug alcohol intervention is a necessary step in drug alcohol addiction treatment. During this process, concerned individuals such as family, friends, and/or workmates initiate activities to convince or persuade addicted individuals to addiction treatment procedures. The purpose of drug and alcohol intervention is to strip off addiction among these individuals and to help those lead better lives. This can be better off with the help of interventionists who are adept with the different drug and alcohol intervention strategies.

There are various establishments that offer different drug intervention programs. As in most drug rehabs, drug and alcohol intervention methods that are used among patients depends on several issues. Drug education and intervention in workplace, for example, is practically for those working individuals and is carried out with the help of co-workers and employers.
